The New Balance 1906R Black Gray finds inspiration in the technical running shoes from the early 2000s and features a black upper with shiny gray details.

One throwback feature is the overlay design on the mesh upper. The crisscrossing overlays create the illusion of movement and remind the wearer that the shoe was create for action. The sneaker boasts three noteworthy technical components: ABZORB SBS cushioning in the heel, an ACTEVA LITE midsole, and an N-ergy outsole. The midsole supports the foot, while the outsole absorbs shock, and the SBS cushioning adds stability. In addition, the stability web technology underfoot supports the arch. The upper is made of breathable mesh in black, while ribbon-like straps wind over the lace cage and form the ‘N’ on the side panel.
