The New Balance 1906R Lunar New Year Pink was released ahead of Chinese Lunar New Year to celebrate the Year of the Dragon and the attributes associated with this zodiac sign.

The light pink colorway of Rosewood, Filament Pink, and Shell Pink represents one of the lucky colors of the dragon zodiac. The upper is made of nylon Ripstop mesh with crisscrossing shiny synthetic overlays. Like other models of the New Balance 1906R, the “Lunar New Year Pink” version finds inspiration in technical running shoes from the early 2000s. The ACTEVA LITE midsole provides responsive cushioning and contributes to the sneaker’s bulky silhouette. Other technical elements include an N-ergy outsole for absorbing shock and ABZORB SBS cushioning in the heel for stability.
